Patricia was born January 8, 1945 to Jack & Margaret (Schroeder) Bennett in Clinton, Iowa. Pat was 77 years old when she passed away from a battle with cancer on March 15, 2022. She is survived and cherished by nephew Scott (Marci) Fredericksen, of Pensacola, Fl., a niece Machale Fredericksen, (Jeff Brase) of Muscatine, Ia., a niece Lisa Filippini (Tyson) of Ferndale, Wa. and nephew Christopher Snodgrass of Clinton, Ia. Other nieces and nephews include Camron, Braiden, Michael, Mason, Carly, Arianna, Tim, Maverick, Melani, Kashton and Kyler. Pat is predeceased by her son, Jamie Snodgrass, her brother, Jerry Snodgrass, her sister, Marie Fredericksen and her parents Jack & Margaret Bennett. Pat’s son Jamie was her life. She supported Jamie in anything that he wanted to do. Pat is now with Jamie, right where she belongs, rejoicing.
Pat was employed by Carlon Manufacturing in Clinton, where she later retired. She went on to work at The Scrub Pub. Pat enjoyed working at both places as she had made lifelong friendships from there. Some things she enjoyed were playing bingo and playing cards with friends and family. If she were alone, she would play Solitaire and Yahtzee. She went by “Aunt Pattie”. She was soft hearted, humble, witty, kind, mellow and so very loving to whomever she met. She was pleasant to everyone, and everyone loved her. She didn’t have a mean bone in her. She was our favorite aunt and always did things with us and on weekends we would take turns staying with her. She could be ornery, but would flip fast and be happy and funny again. She lived with just the basics in life, just getting by and never complained. Aunt Pattie had so many amazing qualities about her. She will forever be in our hearts. One of her last wishes was for everyone to get along.
“We had a wonderful Aunt, one who never really grew old; her smile was made of sunshine, and her heart was solid gold.”
