Patricia Ronnfeldt age 81 of Camanche passed away Thursday, January 9, 2025 at Bickford Cottage. In following Patricia’s wishes cremation rites have been accorded. A gathering of family and friends will take place from 3:00 to 6:00 PM on Thursday, January 30, 2025 at the Pape Funeral Home. A Memorial service will begin at 6:00 PM.
Patricia was born in Clinton on September 30, 1943, the daughter of William “Bill” and Mildred “Millie” (Gaarde) Klahn. She graduated from St. Mary’s High School in 1962. Patricia married Louis Ronnfeldt on February 15, 1964 in Muscatine, Iowa. Louis passed away on December 7, 2013. She was employed at Eagle Foods for many years, starting in the meat department and retiring as the deli manager. Patricia was very active with Clinton County Special Athletes, serving on the Board of Directors. In the past she was a member of the Northeast Booster Club and served as Treasurer at Faith Lutheran Church in Andover. She enjoyed spending time with her family, especially attending her grandchildren’s activities. She was known for baking and decorating cakes and she loved playing cards with her friends.
Patricia is survived by four children; L. Kenneth (Tami) Ronnfeldt of Chandler, AZ, Jennifer (David) Lange of Goose Lake, Julie Ronnfeldt of Clinton, and Kurt (Katie) Ronnfeldt of North Liberty, IA; seven grandchildren; Ben (Haleigh Hughes) Lange, Nate (Gabbie Scott) Lange, Kyler Ronnfeldt, Kendall Ronnfeldt, Charlie (Kelsey) Lange, Kenny Lange, and Holly (Jay) Pickett; seven great-grandchildren; a sister, Ellen Scarano of Clinton; two brothers, Dan (Debbie) Klahn of Clinton and Tom (Kathy) Klahn of Camanche and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband Louis, and 2 brothers, Bill and Bob Klahn. Memorials may be made to Clinton County Special Athletes.
