Norbert F. Barry – 91

Norbert F. Barry age 91 of Clinton passed away Tuesday, March 10, 2026 at the Alverno. A Mass will be celebrated at 11:00 AM on Friday, March 13, 2026 at Price of Peace Parish. Visitation will be from 10:00 AM until the time of the Mass on Friday at the church. Burial will be in St. Irenaeus Calvary Cemetery. The Pape Funeral Home is assisting the family.
Norbert was born in Clinton on November 14, 1934, the son of Francis “Frank” and Mary (Migasi) Barry. He attended St. Mary’s High School. Norbert married Lorraine Green on October 8, 1955 at St. Patrick’s Church in Clinton. Norbert was employed at Interstate Power, retiring after 42 years of service. He was a member of Prince of Peace Parish and the Power Squadron. He enjoyed time with his family, hunting, fishing, camping, taking long car drives, and boating. He was an avid Cubs fan and loved spending time with his friends on their house boat at the marina.
Norbert is survived by his wife Lorraine; a son Dennis Barry of Des Moines; a daughter, Kathy (Steve) Mangler of Clinton; 4 grandchildren Becky Davis (Tom Petersen), Andy Davis (Kelly Stapella), Sean (Corina) Barry, and Chris (Kelly) Barry, and 4 great grandchildren, Miriam, Henry, Malea, and Hudson.
