Mickey E. Gabel age 64 of Clinton, passed away Sunday, December 21, 2025 at his home. Funeral services will be held at 12:00 noon on Friday, December 26, 2025 at the Pape Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 10:00 AM until the service time Friday at the funeral home. Following the service cremation rites will be accorded with burial at a later date.
Mickey was born in Clinton on June 25, 1961 the son of Milan and Sharon (Anderson) Gabel. He graduated from Clinton High School. Mickey had been employed at Rastrelli’s and later at Drives Inc. Mickey had been a member of the Sons of Amvets. He was an avid reader and enjoyed playing pool, bowling, and socializing with his friends at Johnie’s. He was a Chicago Bear fan.
Mickey is survived by 2 brothers; Randy (Mary) Gabel of Port Bryon, IL and David Gabel of Clinton; 4 nephews, Jesse, Derek, Joshua, and Payton and a niece, Kristin.
