Michael L. Diercks age 58 of Clinton, IA passed away Sunday Feb. 11, 2024 at MercyOne, Clinton. Funeral service held 10:30 AM Thursday Feb. 15th at Faith Lutheran Church, Andover. Visitation will be held Thursday 9:30 AM until service hour at the church. Burial will be at Andover Cemetery. Family requests those attending, please dress casual. Casket bearers will be Mike Johnson, Ben Daehler, Wade Ronnfeldt, Jared Kueter, Keaton Tebbe, and Jeff Hart. Memorials may be given to Andover Ambulance or Camp Courageous. Michael was born on Nov. 19, 1965 in Clinton, IA, the son of Gilbert and Dolores (Cornilsen) Diercks. He farmed on the family farm with his Dad and Brother, where he was proud of his 3020 John Deere Tractor. Michael was a member of the Faith Lutheran Church, Andover, Andover Lions Club, and former member of the Andover Fire Department. He loved spending time with family and his dog, Shadow. Michael enjoyed side by side rides, pizza and tacos, watching TV, especially the show, How’s it Made and the Iowa Hawkeyes football and basketball games, going to Tractor Pulls and toy shows for his John Deere Tractor collection.

Michael is survived by his mother, Dolores Diercks of Clinton, IA; 5 brothers and sisters, Brenda Johnson of Thomson, IL, Rick (Kathy Schoel) Diercks of Clinton, IA, Carol Diercks of Clinton, IA, Kevin (Patti) Diercks of Andover, IA, and Lisa (Tim) Till of Bellevue, IA; 7 nieces and nephews, Mike, Kristen, Jill, Jennifer, Kelli, Lindsey, and Lauren; several great nieces and nephews; 4 great-great nieces and nephews; 3 aunts, Darlene Schroeder, Selma (Bill) Schilling, and Bernadine Cornilsen. He was preceded in death by his father, Gilbert in 2021; his grandparents; 2 nephews, Brandon and Collin; brother-in-law, Richard, and several aunts and uncles.
