Mary Ann Dohse age 64

Mary Ann Dohse, age 64 of Savanna, formerly of Clinton, passed away Saturday, November 11, 2023 at Big Meadows Nursing Home in Savanna, IL. Visitation will be from 12:00 to 2:00 PM Friday, November 17, 2023 at the Pape Funeral Home. A time for family remembrances will start at 2:00 PM. Followed by the Burial which will be at Clinton Lawn Cemetery.
Mary Ann was born in Clinton on December 14, 1958, the daughter of Andrew and Margaret (Van Buskirk) Rentz. She attended Clinton Schools. Mary Ann married Vernon Dohse in July 1977 at the 1st Congregational Church in Clinton. Mary Ann was a homemaker. She enjoyed her cats, socializing with her friends, listening to the police scanner and playing bingo. She was a collector of many unique treasurers.
Mary Ann is survived by 4 sons; Timothy Dohse (Nicole) of Clinton, David Dohse of Clinton, Jason (Nicole) Dohse of Camanche, and Jamie Dohse of Moline; 2 grandchildren, Alice and Landon; 2 brothers, Ronald Rentz of Nevada and Gary Rentz of Davenport, and a sister, Shirley Shontos of Clinton.
