Marcia A. Franks age 77 of Clinton, passed away Tuesday March 8, 2022 at her home. Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM Saturday March 12th at the Pape Funeral Home. Visitation will be held Saturday 9:30 AM until the service hour at the funeral home. Cremation rites will be held and a luncheon will be served at Prince of Peace Parish following the service. Marcia was born on July 12, 1944 in Sioux City, IA, the daughter of William and Barbara (Coufal) Pokorny. She married Roger Franks on Nov. 6, 1965 in Bryant, IA. Marcia was a homemaker and delivered the QCTimes newspaper for over 40 years. She was a member of Prince of Peace Parish. She loved spending time with her children and grandchildren. Marcia enjoyed reading, crossword puzzles, and jigsaw puzzles.
Marcia is survived by her husband, Roger Franks of Clinton, IA; three children, Sarah (Jeff) Montori of Fox Lake, IL, Robert (Tammi) Franks of Goose lake, IA, and Matthew (Beth) Franks of Camanche, IA; 8 grandchildren, Adam, Amber, Dominic, Michael, Emily, Sydney, Makenna, and Trey and 3 great grandchildren; two sisters, Teresa Beck of Onawa, IA and Siena (Dave) Witt of Port Charlotte, FL; and several nieces & nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, and a sister.
