Lois J. Boyer, age 75 of Clinton, passed away Saturday, May 14, 2022 at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics. Funeral services will be held at 6:00 PM on Wednesday, May 18th at the Pape Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 3:00 to 6:00 PM Wednesday at the funeral home. Following the service cremation rites will be accorded.
Lois was born in Hampton, Iowa on June 7, 1946, the daughter of Raymond and Bertha (Hetland) Dubberke. She graduated from Radcliffe High School, Radcliffe, Iowa. Lois married Donald Dale Boyer on July 7, 1967. Lois had been employed at Kwik Star for over 22 years. She always put her kids first, even if that meant she went without. She loved talking on the phone and driving all around town in her little red car. She made a friend wherever she went, that’s just who she was.
Lois is survived by 3 children; Todd Boyer of Camanche, Cory Boyer (Rose) of Clinton, and Jennifer Boyer (Josh) of Savanna, IL; 2 grandchildren, Justin Boyer and Kiana Miche; 2 great grandchildren, Amora and Alaia, and her grand puppies, Sammy and Petee. She was preceded in death by her parents, her brother, Richard and her loving dog, Junior. Online condolences may be left at www.papefh.com.
