Dear Sharon Jepsen,
I remember Larry coming to the farm and sitting down to talk to Mom, Dwight and me about a new school being built for Miles. Last year I saw Larry at Threshers and the Lorenzen Baasch Jepsen Family Reunion at Eagle Point Park in Clinton. Larry was a very good man and always happy to see him.
I bought a broom from Dan but couldn’t take it on the plane so I gave it to Mark Hofmann at the reunion and he is happy to have it in Florida.
Mrs. Sharon Jepsen,
So very sorry for the passing of Larry. You and Larry have been a huge part of my up bringing. Letting me help on your farm and teaching another farm boy a different way of life. Letting me bring home to mom those wonderful noon meal recipes of the German nature. I was taught plenty and have done my best to maintain most of it. Thank You both for all that you provided. And yes we have two brooms left.
So very sorry to hear of Larry`s passing he was a wonderful man and a pleasure to be around . Enjoyed his love of Antiques like I did myself, he loved to laugh , and enjoyed the Miles Threshing days. He will be missed by many !
