Kimberly Kaye Banker was born on November 29, 1964. She married John Banker on February 19, 1983 in Cedar Rapids, IA. John passed away in 2023. Kimberly attended cosmetology school and opened up In Style Salon and Day Spa in Clinton. She enjoyed crafting, gardening, sitting by the pool, and most of all spending time with her grandchildren.
Kimberly is survived by two sons, John (Jessie) Banker of Tipton, IA and Nicholas (Rhonda) Banker of Clinton; seven grandchildren, Michael Griffin, Jace Banker, Madison Whitfield, Bianca Banker, Sawyer Stoller, Rowan Banker, and Sander Stoller; and two brothers, Chris and Tom Nowlin. She was preceded in death by her husband John, and a daughter, Stephenie.
Kim was my next door neighbor, dearest friend, a good heart. We knew each other so well. We helped each other get through the good and the not so good. I feel so lost now. It will certainly be a big hole in my future. We had alot of fun over the years watching our kids grow up, marry, and have our grandkids. I have wonderful memories. Love to Kim, I will never forget you.
Kim was an indomitable spirit who was admired for her no nonsense, can-do attitude. She made people feel cared about because she did truly care. John and Nick, I am so sorry for the loss of your Mom, she was a special lady.
Banker Family,
I am so sorry for your loss.—
