Julia “Julie” Ann Pape, 66 of Clinton, passed away Monday, November 10th at her home. A funeral service will be held at 1:00 PM on Saturday, November 15th at Pape Funeral Home. Visitation will be held on Friday, November 14th from 3-7 PM at the funeral home. Burial will be at St. Irenaeus Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials can be directed to Clinton Humane Society or the Prince of Peace Parish. Online condolences may be left at www.papefh.com.
Julie was born in Clinton, IA on January 6, 1959, the daughter of Joseph and Betty (Helmanson) Judge. She graduated from Clinton High School. Julie married Brian Pape on May 12, 1979 at St. Irenaeus Church. She worked at Sullivan’s in Morrison, and also in the deli at Jewel Osco. Julie enjoyed cooking, laughing, joking, socializing with her many friends, going to the casino, an occasional Miller Lite, taking care of her cats and cheering on the Golden Knights. She also enjoyed visiting her son, Mike, in Las Vegas.
Julie is survived by her husband, Brian; son Mike of Las Vegas; daughter Katie of Clinton; and many, many, friends, nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Steve and Mike Judge; and a sister, Bonnie.
I am so sorry to hear of Julie‘s passing. I’ve known Julie since we went to school together at sacred heart. My prayers go out to her family. Rest in peace Julie.

Our wonderful friend Julie was such a delight…I work at the casino & got to know her fairly well. We all looked forward to her arrival…she was fun, always making us laugh…just a joy to be around! She & I shared a great love for cats & spoke of our experiences with our feline friends all the time. She will be greatly missed…there will be a big empty spot without her presence! She was a favorite by all of us at the casino & I myself, will miss her greatly. Farewell dearest heart…much love to you dear Julie!! The cats in heaven will be well loved! ????????????????
