Joan Kay Bennett age 78

Joan Kay Bennett age 78 of Clinton, passed away Monday July 8, 2024 at Aspire of Pleasant Valley Nursing Home. Funeral will be held 10:30 AM Friday at St. John Lutheran Church, Clinton. Visitation will be held Friday 9:30 AM until the service hour at the church. The Pape Funeral Home is assisting the family. Burial will be at Oakland Cemetery. Joan was born on Sept. 10, 1945 in Clinton, IA the daughter of Lloyd and Bernice (Eacker) Bennett. She graduated from Clinton High School. Joan worked at Swift Company for 18 years, P.F.C., and Eagle Heights Rehabilitation Center. She was a member of St. John Lutheran Church, where she was active with the Ladies Aid Luncheons. She was an Avon representative for many years. She enjoyed doing puzzles and embroidery. She loved her cats, Pumpkin and Tanner.
Joan is survived by her special friends, Sandra (Donald) Hamm of Morrison, IL and Jo Campbell of Clinton, IA. She was preceded in death by her parents.
