Jane H. Wyatt Potratz age 84 of Clinton passed away Sunday, December 28, 2025 at her home. In following Janes’s wishes cremation rites have been accorded. A gathering of family and friends will take place from 10:30 to 11:30 AM on Friday, January 2, 2026 at the Pape Funeral Home. A Memorial service will begin at 11:30 AM with burial to follow at Oakland Cemetery.
Jane was born in Clinton on February 11, 1941, the daughter of Irvin and Ruth (Johannas) Wyatt. She graduated from Clinton High School. Jane married Delmer Potratz on September 10, 1960 in Clinton. Delmer passed away on October 9, 2018. Jane was a wife and mother to her 4 children. She was a member of First Methodist Church.
Jane is survived by her children; Rene’ (Claudio) Schwartzman of Ogden, UT, Shelly (Glenn) Campbell of Denver, CO, Daniel (Sandy) Potratz of Cedar Lake, IN, and Jennifer Potratz of Clinton; 5 grandchildren, Nathan, Cassandra, Adriane, Bryan, and Marie; 3 great grandchildren, Emese, Avery, and Bennett; 2 sisters, Ann Vardell and Ada Heincy; 3 brothers, Robert (Polly) Wyatt, John (Joyce) Wyatt, and William Wyatt, and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, and a grandson, Ryan. Memorials may be given to Oakland Cemetery or to the family. Online condolences may be left at www.papefh.com.
