Jacqueline “Jackie” J. Chapman Baughman, age 75 of Clinton, passed away Friday, May 20, 2022 in her home. In following Jackie’s wishes, cremation rites will be accorded. The Pape Funeral Home is assisting the family. A celebration of life will be held at the Clinton AMVETS Club (1317 South 17th Street, Clinton, IA) on Sunday, May 29, 2022 from 1:00 – 4:00 PM. Jackie was born in Morrison, IL on August 14, 1946. She married Thomas Baughman Sr. on June 4, 1966. They were approaching 56 years married. Jackie was blessed to spend her days in their home raising their children, as well as many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. She was a devoted wife, mother, and friend.

Jackie enjoyed the simple pleasures of spending time with her family and friends. She and Tom spent much of their time camping, boating, and trying their luck at the casino.

Jackie was preceded in death by her parents; Theodore and Violet Chapman, brothers Donnie Pray and Michael (Mike) Chapman, 3 sisters; Margaret Schmitt, Janet (Gilbert) Thompson, and Vickie (Tom) Varner, and daughter-in-law Shelly (Tom) Baughman. She is fondly remembered by her husband Tom, 5 children; Michelle (Arno) Baughman, Tom Baughman Jr., Troy Baughman, Brian (Jesse) Baughman, and Kristopher (Ashley) Greene, 15 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren, and siblings; Al (Joann) Chapman, Bruce Rivers, Terry Chapman, Sherry Chapman, and Richard (Katie) Chapman.
