Helen B. Thompson age 96 of Clinton, IA passed away Monday March 18, 2024 at Addington Place of Clinton. Cremation rites have been accorded and burial will be at Clinton Lawn Cemetery at a later date. Online condolences may be left at www.papefh.com.
Helen was born on Aug. 23, 1927 in Chillicothe, OH the daughter of Finley and Cornelia (Wood) Morton. She married Ralph Thompson on Feb. 17, 1952 in Chillicothe, OH. Helen was a homemaker and enjoyed doing crafts, playing cards, dominos, and traveling with Ralph after retirement.
Helen is survived by her two sons, Marv (La Vonne) Thompson of Clinton, IA and Raymond (Sandra) Thompson of Watertown, MN; three grandchildren, Jessica, William, and Taylor; six great grandchildren, Brecken, Broden, Zach, Marin, Liam and Gwen; her great grandson, Dylan; and a brother, Marvin Morton. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband in 2017, two brothers, and two sisters.
