Harold E. Sackett age 82 of Clinton, passed away Sunday, December 8, 2024 at his home surrounded by his family. In following Harold’s wishes cremation rites have been accorded. A Celebration of Life will take place at a later date. A private burial will take place at Lusk Cemetery, Albany, IL. The Pape Funeral Home is assisting the family.
Harold was born in Fond Du Lac, WI on December 19, 1941, the son of Clarence and Helen (Hubbard) Sackett. He attended Sheboygan schools. Harold married Sandra Post on September 5, 1959 in Sheboygan, WI. They were blessed with 5 children. Harold was a truck driver working for Truck Transport and later with ADM. He enjoyed fishing, reading, John Wayne westerns, and following the Chicago Bears.
Harold is survived by his sweetie, Sandra Sackett of Clinton; 4 children, Debra (Raymond) Fink of Clinton, Donna (Bruce) Girton of Fulton, Dean (Lynn) Sackett of Fulton, and Dawn (Michael) Knott of Fulton; 7 grandchildren, Chad, Amanda, Benjamin, Jennifer, Brandon, Nicholas, and Delaney; 9 great grandchildren, and a sister, Arleene Konz of Wisconsin.
