Glenn was born on March 29, 1955 in Clinton, IA the son of Harvey and Beverly (Pettit) Suehl. He graduated from Northeast High School. Glenn worked in maintenance at Central Steel and was a mechanic for many years. He had a passion for motorcycles and managed many bike shops. Glenn was known for his sarcastic sense of humor. He enjoyed camping, traveling, fishing, and spending time with family.
Glenn is survived by his longtime fiancée, Mary Bray of Clinton, IA; his daughter, Charity Hansen of Clinton, IA; two sisters, Kathy Suehl of Fulton, IL and Alleyene (Micro) Suehl of Germany; two brothers, Fred (Wendy) Suehl of Charleston, SC and Brent Fisher of Albany, IL; his bonus children, Terry (Crystal) Bray, Christopher (Jackie) Bray, Brad Bray, and Amber (Dakota) Oderwald; and several grandchildren and great grandchildren.
I met Glenn only a couple of times while visiting with his brother Fred. One was in Camanche to borrow a keg tapper. We encountered a vacated refrigerator that we opened to be surprised that it was full of mold similar to a scene in “Minority Report” overwhelming our noses.
