Geraldine (Gerry) Catherine Meyermann was born on January 4, 1943 in Clinton, Iowa, to George and Edna Meyermann. She entered Eternal Rest on June 10, 2024. Gerry was baptized in 1943 and celebrated her confirmation at St. John Evangelical Lutheran Church in 1957. She attended Elvira Consolidated Schools. Gerry loved farming and all animals. In 1999, Gerry moved to Waterloo where she thrived at an Exceptional Persons group home and became a member of Grace Lutheran Church. She is survived by her sisters Vonnie Carlsen and Jan Miller of Waterloo and Doris Pagels of Howell, Michigan, as well as numerous nieces and nephews. She was proceeded in death by her parents.
A graveside service will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday, June 15th at Clinton Lawn Cemetery, Clinton. A memorial service will occur in July at Grace Lutheran Church in Waterloo.
