Gale Elizabeth Sweeney was born August 1, 1949 and passed away on December 20, 2024 in Rancho Mirage, California at the age of 75. Her burial will take place January 15, 2025 at St. Irenaeus Cemetery in Clinton, Iowa.
Gale was the daughter of Earl and Mariann Sweeney, a devoted Catholic, and an avid reader. She was a mother, sister, and grandmother. She is survived by her two children, Stephanie and Patrick, her brother Stan, and sister Cathy. She had six grandchildren. Local arrangements are being handled by Pape Funeral Home.
