
Frank J. Voda, Jr., age 86 of Clinton, passed away Wednesday, February 4, 2026 at Eagle Point Nursing Home. A Mass will be celebrated at 10:30 AM on Tuesday, February 10, 2026 at Prince of Peace Parish. Visitation will be held from 4:00 to 7:00 PM Monday, February 9th at the Pape Funeral Home. Burial will be in Clinton Lawn Cemetery. Pallbearers will be his grandsons, Lionel and Antonio Bassett, Jamal and Elijah Banks, Trey Voda, and Blake, Cody, and Dominic George. Honorary pallbearer will be Austin George and the other 13 great grandchildren.
Frank was born in Davenport on November 10, 1939, the son of Frank and Evelyn (Tinsley) Voda. He graduated from Clinton High School. Frank served with the US Navy. He married Karen Loeffelholz on February 17, 1962 at St. Patrick’s Church in Clinton. Karen passed away on September 24, 2013. Frank had been the distributor and owner of Jr. Tom’s. He was later employed at McEleney Motors and at Rose Ford. He retired from International Paper. He enjoyed bowling, trains, DVD’s and John Wayne movies. As a member of Valley Oaks Frank was an avid golfer, club tosser, and golf ball collector, mostly from the ponds. He followed the Yankees, Celtics, Colts, and Cubs.
Frank is survived by 3 children; Dennis (Sarah) Voda of Lincolnville, ME, Tammy (Allen) George of Camanche, and Brian (Estella) Voda of Clinton; 10 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren with 3 on the way, and a brother, Richard (Sue) Voda of Clinton. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, and a brother, Robert Voda. Memorials may be made to Autism Speaks or the American Cancer Society.
