Elaine M. “Alene” Flor age 97

Elaine M. “Alene” Flor age 97 of Clinton, IA passed away Saturday Dec. 6, 2025 at Mill Valley Care Center in Bellevue, IA. Cremation rites have been accorded and burial will be held at Miles City Cemetery, Miles, IA. The Pape Funeral Home is assisting the family.
Alene was born on May 15, 1928 in Green Island, IA the daughter of Marvin and Avelda (Daniels) Meyer. She married Ralph Flor on Oct. 6, 1948 in Bellevue, IA, he died in 2019. Alene worked as a Medical Assistant with Dr. Hall at St. Joseph Hospital.
Alene is survived by her two daughters, Barb (Jim) Miller of Fulton, IL and Patricia (John) Earles of Princeton, IA; 9 grandchildren and 24 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by three sisters and a brother.
