Dwight was a great guy. My sympathy to the family.
Dwight was a wonderful member of Community Congregational Church. During his time with our congregation, his spiritual leadership and support of the youth group was second to none. We were blessed to have known him. He was the definition of a servant of God.

Dwight was a wonderful man. Talked to me before my Prostate Cancer surgery. We went to Calvary Baptist Church with him and Shirley. Heaven definitely has a gentleman watching over his family and friends !!!!
I’ll never forget the day Dwight showed up in my office in Daingerfield, TX to tell me why I needed to join Berthel Fisher…and here I am 23 years later. He was one of the kindest and most genuine souls I have ever met. He exuded the “family” core values of the firm, and was my reason for joining. Seems like he was a grandfather figure to many of us! (love this and so HIM!) His faith, his ability to reason well, his insight beyond “the trees”…invaluable and magnetic to me and my husband. While it saddened me to see he had passed, I know this man is healed, and joyously rejoicing at the feet of his Savior, Jesus Christ right alongside Shirley! He witnessed and gloriously embraced 2 Cor. 5:4-9. From my experience with Dwight, I’d anticipate from the legacy he left, to us and to you his family, that he will one day, when the end is revealed, hear “Well done, My good and faithful servant.” May you be comforted by the promises and scriptures left in His word, a word Dwight would often quote. May the testimonies to a life well lived, encourage your hearts & minds as you grieve as those with hope, for God’s glory and Dwight’s good…what a legacy…72 years with Shirley (whom I loved dearly too), and a beautiful inheritance in the children, grandchildren, and great-grand child he’s left to carry on! Blessings to you all and thank you for sharing this man with so many. His impact has been great! May the Lord give you peace. A huge hole in everyone’s sanctification has now been left. Wow…may that be said of us! We’ll reunite again one day!
Dwight was a gentleman and a pleasure to work with. I was a representative for Berthel Fisher for many years and Dwight held a number of management positions with the company over that time. He was always helpful and positive during interactions. His reunion in heaven with Shirley is a cause for celebration. I offer prayers to all of their family left behind until you are once again reunited with them. God bless you all.
He was such an amazing man. When my kids were little, he was so good to them at church. They called him grandpa and to this day, even though they’re older, they still called him grandpa he will be so missed prayers to the family.
I’m so sorry for your loss. I worked with Dwight at Berthel Fisher. He was such a sweet, kind man who went out of his way to make people feel special. One good of many memories, was him clearing snowy windshields of co-workers cars. He was a true gentleman and thoughtful soul.

My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.
Dwight and Shirley were delightful neighbors of mine for several years. I am sure GOD welcomed Dwight into Heaven with open arms and I am sure Shirley wrapped her arms around Dwight and welcomed him home. GOD BLESS them BOTH.
