Comment *My Mom
There are not enough words in the human language to describe how I’m feeling right now.
When I was young and at my most vulnerable state, You were there and I was safe.
When I celebrated a A in math or landing the part in a school play, You celebrated with me.
On my birthday, You made sure I was queen for a day with a homemade deep dish pizza and chocolate cake.
Listening to You sing made me starstruck. You were a celebrity in my eyes and I welled with pride.
Those long talks with You about first love first heartbreak helped me through a young girl’s teenage state of confusion.
As I made many choices and mistakes, evolving into a successful adult, Your support and confidence helped me push for a better tomorrow.
I’d give anything to see your smile, hear you laugh or feel your embrace one more time. I hope time does not fade those memories as I long to cherish them always.
I have stated many times “I don’t know what I’d do without my mom.” Now I know. I will move on and honor her trust in me to be the best person I can be.
Gonna miss You Mom. Thanks for all the love and support. You are forever
