Donald L. “Don” Fulrath – 76

Donald L. Fulrath age 76 of Camanche, passed away Thursday, January 16, 2025 at his home. In following Don’s wishes cremation rites have been accorded. No services are being planned at this time. The Pape Funeral Home is assisting the family.
Don was born in Freeport, IL on February 20, 1948, the son of Leslie and Arlene (Peters) Fulrath. He graduated from Mt. Carroll High School. He married Janell Cavanagh on January 8, 1972 at St. Peter’s Catholic Church in Sabula. They later divorced. Don had been employed at Ralston Purina and ADM. He had served with the Illinois National Guard. Don volunteered and was an EMT with the Sabula Fire Department. He was a member of the Sabula American Legion and of the former St. Peter’s Church. Don enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren and fishing, and was a Green Bay Packer fan.
Don is survived by 4 children; Stacy (Allen) Schutte of Camanche, Brian (Tiffany) Fulrath of Bettendorf, Kelly (Daniel) White of North Liberty, IA, and Kayla (Justin) Meggers of Elvia and 7 grandchildren, Hunter, Zachery, Colton, Payton, Teagan, Maeve, and Taylor.
