Don was a mentor to me in Scouting and served as my Assistant Scoutmaster at the 2001 National Jamboree. He was a kind, smart, and friendly man. I am better today because I knew him. May he be in memory, still bright.
Don was my ScoutMaster of Troop 39 at Elijah Buell School. He was such a great man, teaching us the values of scouting and building in us the lessons of a life well lived. He will always be remembered. Condolences to all of his family.
My thoughts and prayer are with your family. We had many good times with Don and Jan and their kids at their Clinton home many years ago.
Take care and know that your dad had a good long life.
