Dell M. Lutz, 67, of Clinton passed away on Thursday, June 16, 2022 at Eagle Point Health Care Center, Clinton, Iowa. Services will be at Pape Funeral Home Clinton, Iowa on Wednesday, June 22, 2022. Visitation will be held from 11:00am to 12:30pm. Funeral services will be at 12:30pm with burial to follow at Oakland Cemetery in Clinton. Pallbearers will be Steve and Parker Adams, Hunter Jeffrey, Mike and Connor Jordan, and Mike Reafsnider. Honorary pallbearers will be Madeline, Isabella, and Josephine Adams, and Grace Jordan.

Dell Marie Stuit was born January 11, 1955, in Clinton, Iowa, the daughter of Otto and Elizabeth “Betty” (Reafsnider) Stuit. She was a 1973 graduate of Clinton High School and married Bruce A. Lutz on May 24, 1975, in Clinton, Iowa. After high school she worked as a receptionist at Central Steel Tube Company in Camanche. Following the birth of their two daughters, she was a stay-at-home Mom until both were of school age. She then worked for the Clinton Community School District as a para-educator at Whittier Elementary retiring in 2011.

Dell’s greatest enjoyment was spending time with her grandchildren, close family, and her dear friends Michelle Hammerly, Danell Randall, and Dottie Gilmore. She also enjoyed hobbies of basket weaving, scrapbooking, adult coloring, family genealogy, and reading.

Dell is survived by her husband Bruce of Clinton; daughters Rebecca (Mike) Jordan of Cedar Rapids, IA and Erin (Steve) Adams of Fulton, IL; grandchildren Hunter Jeffrey, Grace and Connor Jordan, and Madeline, Isabella, Parker and Josephine Adams; sister Joy Whitney and nieces, Beth Eggert and Gina Gorman all of Decorah, IA; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. Dell is preceded in death by her parents, and brother-in-law, David Whitney.
