David Lee Edwards age 62 of Clinton, IA passed away Sunday Aug. 18, 2024 at MercyOne, Clinton. Visitation will be held 5:00 – 7:00 PM Thursday at the Pape Funeral Home. Funeral will be held Thursday at 7:00 PM at Pape Funeral Home. Cremation rites will be held following the funeral and burial will be held at Clinton Lawn Cemetery. David was born on April 1, 1962 in Clinton, IA the son of Kenneth and Dolores (Schwartz) Edwards. He graduated from Clinton High School in 1980. David was a General Contractor where he was proud to work on the Governor’s Mansion and Coralville Mall. He was a Master Gardener and enjoyed woodworking, his birds, and had a good sense of humor.

David is survived by his two sisters, Michelle Malli and Tammy (Jon) Capella both of Clinton, IA; his brother, Mickey Edwards of Clinton, IA; two nieces, Rachael Schroeder and Kelsey Simmons; four nephews, James Malli, Jonathan, Andrew, and Samuel Capella; and several great nieces & nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Penny.
