Connie L. Hill age 74 of Clinton, IA, passed away Sunday May 14, 2023 at her home. Cremation rites will be accorded and a memorial service will be held 11:00 AM Saturday June 10th at the Pape Funeral Home. Visitation will be held 10:00 AM – 11:00 AM at the funeral home. Following the service, a luncheon will be held at St. John Lutheran Church, Clinton. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to Alzheimer Association, www.alz.org in memory of Connie. Connie was born on Sept. 26, 1948 in Clinton, IA, the daughter of Mynerd “Mike” and Eunice Schultz. She graduated from Clinton High School in 1967 and then Clinton Community College. She married Terry Hill on June 23, 2003 in Paducah, KY. Connie worked as a school secretary for Jefferson School for 23 years, retiring in 2008. She was a member of St. John Lutheran Church- Clinton. She enjoyed bowling, dancing, quilting, cooking, crocheting, her flower garden, playing cards, traveling especially bus trips to the casinos. She was an avid Elvis Presley fan.
Connie is survived by her husband, Terry Hill of Clinton, IA; three children, Daniel (Liz Daines) VanVuren of LaFarge, WI, Natalie (Jeff) Witt of Princeton, TX, and Katy Hill (Nicholas Bonneur) of Plano, IL; five grandchildren, Jacob, Molly, and Nathan Jackson, McKenzie and Emma Renkes; a great granddaughter, Lucia Brady; her sister, Sue Kinnaman; and a brother, Mike Schultz. She was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers.
