Christine M. (Holliday) Paasch age 79 of Clinton, IA passed away Wednesday Dec. 3, 2025 at MercyOne of Clinton. Cremation rites will be accorded and no services are planned at this time. Burial will be held at St. Irenaeus Calvary Cemetery at a later date. The Pape Funeral Home is assisting the family. Online condolences may be left at www.papefh.com.
Christine was born on Aug. 16, 1946 in Clinton, IA the daughter of Torence and Sara (Ernster) Holliday. She graduated from Clinton High School in 1964. She worked for the Clinton Garment Factory and the Sarah Harding Home. She was a member of Prince of Peace Parish.
Christine is survived by her son, Shaun (Chad) McNichols of Appleton, WI; two brothers, Michael (Cindy) Holliday of Clinton, IA and Ronald (Linda) Holliday of Aurora, CO; several nieces & nephews, great nieces & nephews, and 2 great-great nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents.

I met Chris when she stayed with us at the Alverno a short while back. She was a lovely woman, and I was so happy to spend time with her. She talked about her life and some of the issues that she had trouble with over the years. I only hope I was able to help her to come to some understanding of how wonderful she was. I wish I had more time to spend with her, she was certainly taken too soon. I pray she is now happy in heaven and knows that she lived a good life and did so many things right. Blessing to Shaun and her brother’s Mike and Ron. She loved you all very much. Shaun you were the jewel in her crown!!
