Bruce G. Schoenfeld age 77 of Clinton, passed away Sunday, November 21, 2021 at his home. According to his wishes, cremation rites will be accorded. There are no services planned at this time. The Pape Funeral Home is assisting the family. Online condolences may be left at www.papefh.com.
Bruce was born on February 17, 1944 in Galena, Illinois, the son of Carl and Mae (Grunner) Schoenfeld. Bruce married Marilyn Peters on August 18, 1962 in Camanche. Marilyn passed away in 2008. He worked as a welder for Allied Steel for 17 years. Bruce owned B&M Automotive and loved working on vehicles. He also enjoyed woodworking.
Bruce is survived by his children, Troy Schoenfeld, Trinda (Joe) Colschen, Toni Conley, and Trisha (John) Krughel, all of Clinton; 14 grandchildren; 20 great grandchildren; a brother, Allyn (Karen) Schoenfeld; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Marilyn; granddaughter Trista; and several brothers and sisters.
Bruce was a wonderful neighbor. He was always busy doing something for someone. We hated to see him and Marilyn move out of the neighborhood but was so happy they were following their dreams. Condolences to the whole family
