Beverly Putman passed away at age 87 peacefully on December 2, 2021, at Kootenai Medical Center, Coeur d’Alene, Idaho. She lived at Broadway Estates in Spokane Valley since August 2018 after leaving her lifelong home in Clinton, Iowa. A Mass for Beverly (Bev) Putman will be celebrated on Thursday February 10th at 10:30 am at Jesus Christ, Prince of Peace Catholic Church, Clinton, Iowa. Please arrive early to sign the register and visit a few minutes before mass. Burial will be at St Boniface Cemetery and a light lunch to follow at the Parish Hall. Bev lived a long life from 1934 to 2021 and was friend to many; let us celebrate all she meant to so many.
Beverly was born on Jan. 21, 1934 in Clinton, Iowa, the daughter of Eugene and Dorann (Hickle) Putman. She was very active in the Catholic Prince of Peace parish and with the Friends of the Library. Bev loved her dogs and really missed Buddy when he died in 2019. She is survived by her sisters, Ruth Lewis and Marcella Meehan; her brothers, Wayne and Mike; and numerous nieces, nephews and grand nieces and nephews. Her brothers George, Frank and Larry and sister, Jean went to heaven before her as well as her father, Eugene Putman and mother, Dorann (Hickle) Putman.
