Beverly A. “Bev” Galloway age 76 of Low Moor, passed away Wednesday, September 11, 2024 at Eagle Point Nursing Home. In following Bev’s wishes cremation rites have been accorded. A Gathering of Family and Friends will take place from 3:00 to 6:00 PM on Friday, September 13, 2024 at the Pape Funeral Home.
Bev was born in Clinton on March 15, 1948, the daughter of Harold and Adala (Schmidt) Mussmann. She graduated from Goose Lake High School in 1966. Bev married James “Fuzzy” Galloway on October 16, 1971 in Preston. Fuzzy passed away on April 19, 2022. Bev had been in employed in the offices of Prudential Life and later with Dr. Land from where she retired in 2012. She enjoyed word puzzles and jigsaw puzzles, reading, breakfast with Raedene and Penny at McDonald’s and having a beer with family and friends in the Bear Den.
Bev is survived by 3 sisters; Lois McCluskey, Mary Seeser, and Jane (John) Van Horn; a brother, Robert Mussmann; 4 sisters-in-law, Linda Mussmann, Sharon Mussmann, Barb Mussmann, and Michelle Mussmann; a brother-in-law, Norman Pease and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband Fuzzy; 3 sisters, Frieda, Judy, and Donna Jean, and 6 brothers, Marvin, Leighton, Arnold, Frederick, James, and Thomas.
