Betty Jean Frederick-Krebs age 62 of Camanche, passed away Sunday Feb. 26, 2023 at ProMedica SNF in Davenport. Funeral service will be held 11:30 AM Friday March 3rd at the Pape Funeral Home. Visitation will be held Friday 9:30 AM until the service hour at the funeral home. Burial will be at Clinton Lawn Cemetery. Casket bearers will be Tristian Spooner, Zachary Whitehead, Travis Leab, Blake Hardison, Nicholas Ball, Masyn Spillman, and Cody Olson. Online condolences may be left at www.papefh.com.
Betty was born on March 2, 1960 in Clinton, IA, the daughter of Maynard and Margery (Runge) Frederick. She worked at Jane Lamb Hospital in Radiology, owner/operator of Sassy Seconds Store, Clinton, and QA Inspector at Swiss Colony. Betty enjoyed shopping, music, bowling, spending time with her grandchildren, and her boxer dogs Duke, Jack, and Cooper. She was an avid Chicago Cubs fan.
Betty is survived by her three children, Nick (Rachael) Ball of Clinton, Cina (John) Lessard of Camanche, and Joseph Ball of Camanche; six grandchildren, Brooklyn, Kaitlyn, Blake, Brianna, Nicholas, Hailey; a great granddaughter, Lorelai; a sister, Mary Lou (Merle) Leab of Clinton; and a brother, Jimmy (Gail) Frederick of Clinton. She was preceded in death by her parents, her son, Chad Clausen in 2007, a sister, Geraldine and four brothers, Robert, Gary, Phillip, and Eugene. Family requests everyone to wear Chicago Cubs clothing while attending the visitation and service.
Danny I’m so sorry I won’t be coming. I loved Pam she was a wonderful woman, a good mother and grandmother and Ofcourse a great wife. She was really special.
