Bernard L. Feller age 85

Bernard L. Feller age 85 of Camanche, a beloved husband and father, passed away Wednesday Aug. 16, 2023 at Rock River Hospice and Home in Sterling, IL from an extended illness. A Mass will be held 11:00 AM Monday Aug. 21st at the Church of the Visitation in Camanche. Visitation will be held Sunday 2 – 5 PM at the Pape Funeral Home in Clinton. Bernard was born on Oct. 7, 1937 on the farm in Jackson County, Iowa, the son of Raymond and Mayme (Trenkamp) Feller. He married Katherine Mussmann on May 6, 1967 in Preston, IA. Bernard worked as a machine operator at Ralston Purina, Clinton for over 32 years, retiring in 2001. He was a member of the Church of the Visitation in Camanche and enjoyed bowling and umpiring in Preston. He was an avid Chicago Cubs and Bears fan.
Bernard is survived by his wife, Kathy Feller of Camanche; six children, Paul (Corie) Feller of Clinton, IA, Barb (Mark) Parsons of Clinton, IA, Todd Feller of West Des Moines, IA, Anji (Eric Vastine) Feller of Davenport, IA, Jenny (Josh) Jones of Camanche, IA, and Lisa (Ben) Anthofer of Marion, IA; 15 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren; three brothers, Hank Feller of Spragueville, IA, Eugene (Donita) Feller of Preston, IA, and Eddie (Alice) Feller of Preston, IA; his sister, Kathy Feller of Spragueville, IA; and several nieces & nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother, a sister, and a nephew.
