Barbara Jo “Barb” Naeve, age 80 of Clinton, passed away Saturday, July 16, 2022 at Prairie Hills. A gathering of family and friends will take place from 10:00 AM until 12:00 noon Thursday at the Pape Funeral Home. Funeral services will begin at 12:00 noon. Burial will follow at Andover Cemetery. Barb was born in Princeton, IL on November 29, 1941, the daughter of Raymond of Dorothy (Kopp) Fullick. She graduated from Clinton High School. Barb married Robert Hughes on August 31, 1963 in Clinton for several years. She later married Warren Naeve in 1982 in Camanche. Warren passed away in 2001. Barb married Eugene Isaman on March 30, 2006 in Alamo, TX. Eugene passed away on January 9, 2019. Barb had been employed as a Case Worker with Clinton County Child Support Recovery. She had also worked at Woody’s and the County Club. Barb was a member of Prince of Peace Parish. She enjoyed spending time with her family, camping, shopping, and following the Iowa Hawkeyes. Barb loved traveling and happened to be in Rome at the time of Pope John Paul’s II funeral of which she was able to attend and she traveled to many other countries and even brought her daughter and grandchildren to Disney world and Hawaii.
Barb is survived by her daughter, Renee (Daniel) Williams of Clinton; 11 grandchildren, Crystle, Angela, Sierra, Joshua, Cameron, Isabella, Dan Jr, Melissa, Jennifer, Cody, and Katie; 13 great grandchildren; 2 sisters, Rebecca (Larry) Sigler in AZ and Judy (Gary) Still in ID; 2 brothers, John (Cheryl) Fullick in GA and Jim Fullick of Camanche; several nieces and nephews; and a daughter in law, Erma Naeve, whom Barb was close to. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husbands, a brother Tom, and 2 sisters, Garnett and Joyce. The family would like to thank the staff at Prairie Hills for their compassion, patience and kindness that they consistently showed Barbara.
