Barbara J. Hinsch – 66

Barbara J. Hinsch, age 66 of Camanche, passed away Sunday, November 13, 2022 at St. Francis Hospital, Peoria, IL from injuries received in a car accident near Peoria, IL. Visitation will be from 2:00 to 4:00 pm Friday, November 18, 2022 at the Pape Funeral Home. A service will be held at 4:00 pm. Burial will take place at a later date in Farmersburg Wagner Cemetery, Farmersburg, Iowa.
Barbara was born in Clinton on February 28, 1956, the daughter of William and Darlene (Palas) Hinsch. She graduated from Clinton High School. She was a manager of FINA Stores in Texas and Oklahoma. After returning to Camanche she worked for Kwik Star from where she retired. Barbara was a hard worker who enjoyed spending time with her dog Pepper and going out to eat.
Barbara is survived by her son, Benjamin (Corinna) Smith of Parker, CO; 2 grandsons, Gage and Zachery; 2 sisters, Judy Holy of Clinton and Mary (Todd Norwalk) Hinsch of Tulsa, OK; 3 brothers, William Hinsch of Camanche, Robert (Annette) Hinsch of Camanche, and Thomas (Joni) Hinsch of Albany, IL and many nieces and nephews.
