Anna Ngu Thi Hoang age 90 of Clinton, IA, passed away Thursday Aug. 3, 2023 at her home. Mass will be held 10:30 AM Thursday Aug. 10th at Prince of Peace Parish, Clinton. Visitation will be held Wednesday 5:00 – 7:00 PM at the Pape Funeral Home. Burial will be held at St. Irenaeus Calvary Cemetery, Clinton. Online condolences may be left at www.papefh.com
Anna was born on Feb. 9, 1933 in Vietnam, the daughter of Hao and Quy Thi (Nguyen) Hoang. She married Tan Nguyen in 1953 in Vietnam, he died in 2009. Anna was a homemaker and worked at Rastrelli’s for many years. She was a member of Prince of Peace Parish. Anna enjoyed spending time with family and especially with her grandchildren, gardening, and going for walks.
Anna is survived by her three children, Tom (Nhi) Nguyen of Clinton, IA, My Nguyen of Oklahoma City, OK, and Ngoan (Phillip) Le of Houston, TX; 9 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren; her sister, Lam Thi Hoang of Vietnam; two brothers, Viet Hoang and Lien Hoang both of Vietnam; and several nieces & nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, two sons, her daughter, a sister, and a brother.
