Adolf Hehr, 81 of Clinton, passed away Wednesday, March 2, 2022 at Eagle Point Health Care Center. According to his wishes, cremation rites will be accorded, and there will be no services. Online condolences may be left at www.papefh.com.

Adolf was born on December 30, 1940, the son of Johann and Adele (Tetzlaff) Hehr. In 1951 he emigrated from Germany with his mother and siblings. He graduated high school and attended Waldorf University. Adolf married Janet Nolting on September 3, 1978 in Preston, IA. He retired from Fulton Corporation in 2000. Adolf enjoyed traveling and visited seven continents, 56 countries, 50 states, and Canada with Janet by his side.

Adolf is survived by his wife, Janet; three daughters, Deanna (John) Stafford of Clinton, Dionne Witt of Clinton, and Doreen (Michael) Hall of New Braunfels, TX; his grandchildren, Alison Harris, Olivia Witt, and Micayla and Alexandria Hall; great grandchildren Charleigh Harris and Jordan Stafford; siblings Horst (Jean) Hehr of Mason City, IA and Elmire (Larry) Glaeske of Gaylord, MN; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents; a grandson, Joshua Hall; and his brother, Fred Tetzlaff.
