Jo Ellen Colschen age 71 of Clinton, IA passed away on Monday Oct. 12, 2026 at her home. Funeral service will be held 1:00 PM Saturday Oct. 17th at the Pape Funeral Home. Jo was born on Nov. 15, 1954 in Clinton, IA the daughter of Merle and Eva (Marr) Steines. She was a Certified Nurses Assistant working at various nursing homes, including the Alverno the longest. Jo loved her many cats.
Jo is survived by her daughter, Eva (Cory) Mitchell of Clinton, IA and a son, Justin Colschen of Clinton, IA; two grandsons, Austin and Christian; her brother, Merle (Cindy) Steines of Decorah, IA; and a niece & nephew. She was preceded in death by her parents.
