Sally A. Wilkinson age 70 of Clinton, IA graduated into glory on Monday Aug. 18, 2025 at Eagle Point Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, where she lived the past 11 years. Cremation rites have been accorded and graveside services will be held Saturday Sept. 6th at 11:00 AM at St. Irenaeus Calvary Cemetery, followed by a graduation into glory party at Clinton Church of Christ. Sally was born on Sept. 2, 1954 in Indiana the daughter of Bernard and Angelina (Smith) McDonald. She worked as a cook for various local restaurants. Sally married the love of her life David Wilkinson on Aug. 17, 2012 in Clinton. She was well loved by all. She loved macaroni and cheese, playing bingo and hardly ever missed a game. She would share her winnings with others. Since her church was in Sterling, IL she and David would hold their own church service at Eagle Point every Sunday.
Sally is survived by her husband, David Wilkinson of Clinton, IA; her sister, Rachel McDonald; and her in-laws, Dennis and Ruby Hopper. The family would like to thank the staff at Eagle Point and Beacon of Hope Hospice for their loving care.
