Dale A. Geber, age 84 of Clinton, passed away Friday, June 3, 2022 at Select Specialty Hospital in Davenport. Visitation will be from 4:00 to 6:00 PM Friday, June 10th at the Pape Funeral Home. Services will be held at 6:00 PM with burial at Rock Island National Cemetery at a later date.
Dale was born in Maquoketa on September 28, 1937, the son of Dorrance and Annastacia (Franzen) Geber. He graduated from Maquoketa High School. He served with U.S. Air Force as an Airman 3rd Class from March of 1955 to September of 1957. Dale married Carol Ann Lundin on May 2, 1975 in Springbrook. He was a machinist at Collis Company retiring in 2000. Dale enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren, woodworking, fishing, camping, and traveling. He liked sight-seeing along the Mississippi River. He was not an avid sports fan but loved a good Hawkeye or Cubbie game.
Dale is survived by his wife, Carol; 3 children, Ron (Katie) Lundin of Des Moines, Phyllis Lundin of Iowa City and John (Theresa) Lundin of Topeka; 6 grandchildren, Jonathan, Jacob, Mikhaila, Calvin, Rachel, and Riley and 2 great grandchildren, Owen and Theo.
