Jolee Kay McKenzie, age 75, of Morrison IL, suddenly passed away in her home Monday, December 6, 2021, with her devoted husband at her side.
Jolee was born in Clinton on November 13, 1946, the daughter of Richard Raymond and Millicent Emilie (Snyder) Stahl. She attended Clinton High School. Jolee married Daniel McKenzie on September 27, 1972; together, they moved to Morrison where they lived for 49 years.
Jolee is survived by her husband, Daniel; 3 daughters, Lisa (Robert) Boyer of Denver, CO, Shada McKenzie of Santa Fe, NM, and Elizabeth McKenzie of Ocala, FL. She has 3 surviving brothers: Jon (Teresa) Stahl of Colorado Springs, CO, Allen (Robin) Stahl of Clinton and Larry (Judy) Stahl of Chesterfield, MO; one sister, Sherry Stahl, of Clinton; 2 brothers-in-law: Jay McKenzie of Albany and Charles McKenzie of Fulton; a sister-in-law, Donna McKenzie of Arizona; many loved nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; a son, Brock (1976); a brother, Tom; 2 sisters-in-law: Barbara McKenzie and Lottie McKenzie, who was also her best friend.
Jolee’s husband and children meant everything to her; they were the heart of her life. God was at the center of her heart.
Visitation will be held Monday Dec. 13th from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the Pape Funeral Home, 2308 Pershing Blvd, Clinton, IA. Burial will immediately follow at the Springdale Cemetery.
Sorry to hear about Jolee passing. Always enjoyed growing up next to the family. We were all blessed to have someone as great as Jolee in our lives. Bless you all.
