Henry “Jack” Lockhart age 85 of Clinton, Iowa formerly of Texas, passed away Saturday Sept. 18, 2021 at MercyOne Medical Center, Clinton. Cremation rites have been accorded with burial held at Clinton Lawn Cemetery at a later date. The Pape Funeral Home is assisting the family. Online condolences may be left at www.papefh.com.
Jack was born on April 9, 1936 in Whiteside County, Illinois, the son of Dwight and Jane (Holle) Lockhart. He graduated from Clinton High School in 1954. He worked as a machinist at Texas Instruments in Ft. Worth, TX.
Jack is survived by his two brothers, Steve (Lorri) Lockhart of Clinton and Douglas (Jeri) Lockhart of Seattle, WA; five sisters, Jean (Arthur) Munson of Phoenixville, PA, Cathie Lockhart of Moline, IL, Barb Klink of Phoenix, AZ, MaryLou Lockhart of Florida, and Laurie (Bill) Ellsoos of Lancaster, PA; and several nieces & nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, his three wives, a brother, and a sister.
Doug and Steve we would like to offer you our sympathies and to all who who knew Jack. I did not know Jack and really had to reach back to recollect that you had older siblings and that I only knew the younger brothers of the clan. I bet Jack was cool and sounds like he did not live far from us either. I would have loved to have meet him. Take care and squeeze as much life out of each day as humanly possible.

I’m so sorry for your loss Steve. It was so good of you to come to our pot lucks with Henry. He was a joy to be around, always had a smile. We maybe didn’t visit much but enjoyed it when we did. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.
