Jacquelyn M. Mussmann age 77 of Clinton, passed away Friday Sept. 10, 2021 at MercyOne Medical Center surrounded by her family. A private family visitation will be held. A Mass will be celebrated at 11:00 AM Friday Sept. 17th at Prince of Peace Parish. Following the Mass, cremation rites will be accorded and burial will be held at Clinton Lawn Cemetery. Jacquelyn was born on Nov. 13, 1943 in Clinton, the daughter of Alfred and Carrie (Hendes) Grell. She graduated from Clinton High School in 1962. Jacquelyn married Fred Mussmann on April 4, 1964 in Clinton. She was a homemaker and an avid volunteer at St. Mary’s School. She was a member of Prince of Peace Parish. Jacquelyn enjoyed spending time with family; especially watching her grandchildren’s events. She enjoyed reading, crossword puzzles, and going to the casino.

Jacquelyn is survived by her husband, Fred Mussmann of Clinton; four children, Mark (Sue) Mussmann of Camanche, Michelle (Randy) Paulsen of Clinton, Jim (Cheryl) Mussmann of Phoenix, AZ, and Jen (Marty) Costello of Long Grove, IA; 11 grandchildren, Jacob (Amanda), Morgan (David), Courtney (Colin), Devynn (Jake), Rhegan, Jessica (Kevin), Michael (Jaycie), Brandon, Zac, Collin, and Maddy; 8 great grandchildren; two sisters, Jan Schumacher and Linda (David) Vogel; four brothers, Jim Grell, Steve (Diane) Grell, Dave (Betty) Grell, and Roger (Joni) Grell; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, four sisters, and three brothers.
