Anthony W. “Tony” Geltz, age 28 of Coralville, formerly of Clinton, passed away Saturday, August 7, 2021. A gathering of family and friends will take place from 2pm to 3pm Saturday, August 14, 2021 at Pape Funeral Home. A memorial service will follow at 3pm. Burial will be at a later date.
Tony was born in Davenport on March 26, 1993, the son of David and Beth (Carlsen) Geltz and Susan (Schroeder) Luce. He graduated from Eldora High School. Tony enjoyed video games, reading and following the Chicago Bears.
Tony is survived by his parents, David and Beth Geltz of Clinton and Susan Luce of Dubuque; a sister, Rebecca Geltz of Dubuque; a stepsister, Meagan Machholz of Worcester, MA; his grandparents, David and Julia Bachtell of Donna, TX and several aunts, uncles, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his grandparents; Anthony and Erma Geltz, Oakley Carlsen, and William and Maxine Schroeder. Memorials may be made to the family.
