Lorael “Michelle” Seifert, 69 of Clinton, IA and formerly of DeWitt, IA passed away July 31st, 2021 at Alverno Health Care Facility. Pape Funeral Home is assisting the family in cremation. No services will be held. A Celebration of Life Luncheon will be held on Saturday, August 7, 2021 at Low Moor Community Center from 1:00 – 4:00 PM.
Lorael “Michelle” was born on July 30, 1952 to Gilbert Leroy and Vera Jean (Caven) Everetts in Maquoketa, IA. She graduated from DeWitt High School in 1970. She worked for Skeffington’s Jack and Jill in the deli department for several years.
Lorael is survived by her lifelong partner of 32 years, Marvin Scheper Jr.; sons Mic (Jen) Seifert of Davenport and Chad (Hedda) Seifert of DeWitt; stepson, Derek Scheper of Clinton; stepdaughter, Andrea (Antonio Bailey) Scheper of Clinton; brother, Mike (Becky) Everetts of Davenport; sister, Val Everetts of Davenport; stepbrothers, Rick (Robi) Scheel and Mike Scheel of Davenport; stepsister, Kathy (Scheel) Harrell of Tarpon Springs, FL and 11 grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and stepbrothers Brian and Bruce Scheel.
