Frederick A. “Fritz” Schwartz, age 87 of Bryant, passed away on Sunday, April 25, 2021 at West Wing Place in DeWitt. In following Fritz’s wishes cremation rites have been accorded. Private burial will at Center Grove Cemetery. The Pape Funeral Home is assisting the family.
Fritz was born in Clinton County on July 13, 1933, the son of Fred A. and Mildred (Guise) Schwartz. He farmed the family farm near Bryant his entire life. Fritz enjoyed antique shops and flea markets.
Fritz is survived by 2 sisters; Dorothy Peters of Rodgers, AR and Edna Montague of DeWitt; a brothers, Donald (Roberta) Schwartz of Clinton and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; 3 brothers, William, Kenneth, and Wesley and 4 sisters, Elnora Anderson, Alma Funaro, Eunice Violett and Helen Darr.
