Linda L. Alexander age 73 of Clinton, passed away Thursday, April 1, 2021 at her home. According to her wishes, cremation rites have been accorded. A memorial service will be held at 6 PM on Wednesday, April 7th at the Pape Funeral Home. Linda was born in Clinton on May 27, 1947, the daughter of Anthony and Erma (Kane) Geltz. She graduated from Clinton High School. Linda married Rodney Alexander on November 15, 1968 in Clinton. She worked at AC Nielson Company and also at Handcock Fabrics. Linda was a member of Baptist Faith and the Morrison Quilting Guild. She was an avid quilter. Linda also enjoyed sewing projects and gardening. She collected books, Beatles memorabilia, commemorative plates and bears.
Linda is survived by her husband Rodney; two sons, Michael Alexander of Clinton and Patrick (Melissa) Alexander of Marion, IA; two grandsons, Zavier and Miles; sisters, Marjorie Baker, Sue Baker, Beverly Comstock, Jan VanMaanen, and Julie Geltz, all of Clinton and brothers, Rick and David Geltz both of Clinton. She was preceded in death by her parents, and a sister, Carol.
