Jennifer A. Eno age 53 of Thomson, IL, passed away Wednesday Nov. 14, 2018 at the University of Iowa Hospital in Iowa City.  Funeral services will be held 4:00 PM Saturday Nov. 17th at Faith Lutheran Church in Andover.  Visitation will be held Saturday 1 – 4 PM at the church.  Following the service, cremation rites will be accorded.  The Pape Funeral Home is assisting the family.  Online condolences may be left at www.papefh.com.  

 

     Jennifer was born on March 2, 1965 in Clinton, the daughter of Jerome and Jacqueline (Wulf) Wilke.  She graduated from East Central High School in 1983.  She married Gary Eno on Oct. 19, 2002 in Clinton.  She worked as a receptionist at Rock Valley Physical Therapy.

She was baptized and confirmed in the Lutheran faith.  Jennifer enjoyed reading, cooking, and baking.

 

     Jennifer is survived by her husband, Gary Eno of Thomson, IL; her son, Jacob (Kaitlin) Wilke of Preston, IA; her granddaughter, Jaydynn; three step-children,  Garrett Mason and Van (Tonya) Eno both of Madison, WI, and Angela Eno of Savanna, IL; her sister, Joni (Dan) Kane of Council Bluffs, IA; her two brothers, Jay (Kathy) Wilke of DeWitt and James (Katie) Wilke of Andover; and four nieces and a nephew.  She was preceded in death by her parents, grandparents, and a brother, Brian.   

Visitation:

Visitation will be held Saturday 1 – 4 PM at the church.

Service:

Funeral services will be held 4:00 PM Saturday Nov. 17th at Faith Lutheran Church in Andover. Following the service, cremation rites will be accorded. The Pape Funeral Home is assisting the family.

    Gary, words are never adequate at a time such as this. And as I remember you being a man of few words, much like your Dad, just let me say I am sorry for your loss but I trust that the ties that bound you and Jennifer have not been broken but are only somewhat farther apart. I pray the Holy Spirit will comfort you. Sam.

    I only knew Jen through work, but she was one of the nicest people you could encounter. A true loss to the world. So sad to hear she has been called to be in heaven.

    I am so sorry to hear of Jenn’s passing. I’d worked with her several years ago at MA. She was so sweet and soft-spoken. Rest in sweet peace Jen. Praying for her family and friends. May your memories bring you comfort and peace.
