We met Jeanne 6 years ago on our trip to Alaska. Along with her good friend ,Kathy, and new friends Ron n Sherry Woodworth, the six of us had a joyful time vacationing together. We have kept that new friendship going and always have a bundle of laughs together. Jeanne was one of the most joyful people we have ever known n feel privileged to have had her in our lives. She will be greatly missed.

My parents and Jean's parents played cards together.  We knew each other from kindergarten through graduation from high school.  Our mothers both passed away at an early age, we both knew that loss together.  We climbed silos together and spent nights together.  She moved to Clinton and I moved around the state before coming back to our hometown area.  The friendship was renewed.  Hours long phone conversations were a norm for us.  We had lots of laughter and stories.  Jean remembered lots of things with that steel trap of a mind of her's.  I will miss her laughter and conversations with a smile on my face, like she always had.
